Fall
Football (8th grade only)

Winter:  Wrestling (7th & 8th grades)

Spring:  Softball 6th, 7th & 8th grade girls)

               Track & Field:  (7th & 8th grade girls and boys),

Student eligibility to participate in sports:

  • Must have a physical exam and proof of medical insurance.  Only one (1) physical per school year. Physicals for the 2018-19 school year MUST be taken after April 1, 2018.
  • GPA of 2.00 with ZERO failing grades at the end of the semester.. 

                   ATHLETIC SCHEDULES FOR WEEK OF December 3-December 8

Basketball:  Tuesday, December 11:  Girls travel to Lincoln.  7th grade plays at 5:15 and 8th grade game starts 10 minutes following conclusion of 7th grade game.  Boys host Lincoln at ERMS starting at 5:15 pm. 
Thursday, December 13, the girls travel to Grants to play Los Alamitos Middle School.  Game time is set for 4:00 pm with 8th grade game scheduled at 5:00.  Boys will host Los Alamitos at 4:00 pm at ERMS

Wrestling:  Thursday, December 13:  Storm versus Rams (ERMS and LMS) single team match at Rio Rancho Middel School at 5:00 pm.
Congratulations to our wrestling team for bringing home the 3rd place trophy at the Los Lunas Duels tourney on Saturday, December 8.  This team is improving in leaps and bounds.  Great job.
Congrats to the ERMS 8th grade girls basketball team and winning the third place trophy at the RRMS basketball tourney on December 7 and 8.  The girls won 2 of their 3 games, beating Jemez and Lincoln.
Kudos to Marcus Williams.  Marcus took home first place honors in the 95 pound weight division at the Los Alamos Duels wrestling match on Saturday, December 1st.  The 7th graders defeated Cochiti by a score of 58-17 and the 8th graders prevailed by a 46-33 count.

REMINDER: Middle school athletes can gain free admission to all Cleveland and RRHS athletic events by showing their school ID and accompanied by a paying adult.
